Nuñez: "We took three very important points"
The defender sets his sights on Europe after the Matchday 37 victory
Valencia CF's Unai Nuñez spoke with VCF Media after the win against Real Sociedad.
The game
“We conceded the first goal, but the team turned things around because we never stopped believing. In the second half, due to two unfortunate incidents, we conceded two more goals and Real Sociedad took the lead. Even so, and a man down, the team continued to believe and fight until the end, coming back to win.”
Fighting until the end
“We always try to give our best in every game. Today, we were fortunate that things went our way and we took home three very important points.”
The next game
“We’ve already secured our place in the Primera División and now we have the chance to fight for a European spot. We’re going to work hard and believe that it will happen. It would be great to win at home and qualify for Europe. Let’s see if we can all achieve it together.”
